Support Cedar Hill

Dear Friend,
Thank you for your interest in the work of Cedar Hill. Your contribution is critically important. The scope of programming and facilities that Cedar Hill offers to its community requires a great deal of resources to maintain. Although our yearly budget covers some of this, your contributions and support are critical to the ongoing success of our organization. Please consider donating financially or with your time to help sustain Cedar Hill's vital work.

Here are 5 ways to support Cedar Hill:

(1) by providing general support on an as-needed basis;

(2) by joining our team of Earthkeepers to tend our 18 acres of land,

(3) by helping with administrative tasks on a volunteer basis.

(4) by serving as a volunteer public relations ambassador to acquire new advertisers and encourage new program participation from individuals and businesses;

(5) by becoming a Guardian - making regular, preplanned monthly financial contributions - and encouraging others to become Guardians as well.

"Thank you for some fresh air and old fashioned hospitality.  Your enthusiasm, spirituality and compassion filled the place.  I plan to recommend Cedar Hill to others."

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Come find out where your gifts and talents fit into the community of Cedar Hill. As a small nonprofit organization, we depend on our volunteers to continue our ongoing ministry. You can spend a few hours or a day.  Where can you picture yourself?

Gardening – planting, weeding, mulching, creating new gardens, implementing design ideas, discerning which plants can be used to maintain our native and drought tolerant gardens.  Bring your gloves and a favorite tool.

Administrative – answering phones in office, putting hand-outs together as needed for programs.

Library – sorting and logging in new books, maintaining the extensive book list, contacting clients to retrieve books.

Labyrinth – maintaining the area around our beautiful Cretan labyrinth, mowing the labyrinth during spring and summer season, weeding around the stones, planting new flowers around the entrance.

Building Maintenance – cleaning gutters, caulking windows, replacing A/C filters, cleaning carpets, cleaning windows & blinds, plumbing, painting.

Special Events – volunteering to work fundraising events during the year, helping with planning, set up and clean up.  Fresh Green Friday monthly dinners are a fun way to volunteer!
